Mary Romero’s poetry has been nominated for Best of the Net, and her chapbook Philoxenia won the Luci Shaw prize. Her work has appeared in Birmingham Poetry Review, Crux, Measure, Able Muse, Mezzo Cammin, Peacock Journal, Christianity and Literature, Forma, and Blue Mountain Review, among other journals. Mary received her Masters in Theology and the Arts from Regent College, and she currently lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she works as a deacon for the Mission Chattanooga, as well as a teacher, writer, and mother of two lovely hooligans.
